PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
● All participants must be from medical, dental, allied health sciences, nursing, or healthcare disciplines. Undergraduate students, recent graduates, and house officers are also eligible to participate.
● A maximum of two (2) investigators may present a research study for either a poster or an oral presentation.
● Ensure all submission materials, including abstracts and presentation formats, adhere to the conference guidelines.
● An individual can be listed as the presenting author on multiple abstracts, but will only be allowed to present one if more than one abstract is accepted.
● Observers are not allowed.
Submission Requirements
Participants may choose to register for:
1. Oral presentation
2. Poster Presentation
3. Both Oral and Poster Presentation
If a submission does not qualify for an oral presentation, it will automatically be considered for poster presentation.
Accepted submission types:
● Case report
● Case series
● Systematic review
● Meta-analysis
● Cross-sectional study
● Cohort study
● Case-control study
● Clinical trial
Note: Narrative reviews, literature reviews, traditional reviews, letters to the editor, expert opinions, and commentaries will not be accepted.
Formatting:
● Use Times New Roman font, size 12.
● Include author names and institution names after the title.
● All abstracts EXCEPT case reports must be structured according to the following headings:
o Introduction/Purpose
o Methodology
o Results
o Conclusion
● Abstracts for case reports must be structured according to the following headings:
o Introduction
o Case description
o Discussion
o Conclusion
● The word limit, excluding the author names, institution names, and title, is 300 words.
● The title should not exceed 20 words.
REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
● All presenters must register by scanning the QR code provided at the end of the invite or through the link in the MedVerse ’25 Instagram bio.
● The Abstract Submission Form is to be submitted by one member from each team.
● If two presenters attend the conference, they must fill out the Presenter Registration Form separately and submit their fees separately. Please note that this form will only be emailed to those whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation.
● Attendance at the conference will be contingent upon completion of the form by all presenters.
● Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified via email.
